First flown with the Boeing test registration N35030 in Jan-94, the aircraft was stored at Renton, WA, USA until it was delivered to Iberia with the Spanish temporary registration EC-608 in Jul-94. It was sold to Itochu Air Lease on delivery and leased back to Ibera. The aircraft was re-registered EC-FYJ in Oct-94. It was returned to the lessor, leased to Air Europa and sub-leased back to Iberia on the same day in May-00. It was returned to Air Europa in Oct-01 and stored at Madrid, Spain until it was returned to the lessor in Jun-02. The aircraft was leased to Icelandair as TF-FIR in Jul-02 and immediately sub-leased to Aeromar Venezuela. It returned to Icelandair in Oct-03 and placed on a short-term lease to Avianca Colombia a few days later, returning to Icelandair in Dec-03. The aircraft was leased to subsidiary company Loftleidir Icelandic in Aug-04 and returned to Icelandair in Jun-05. It was fitted with blended winglets in May-06, they were replaced with new Scimitar Winglets in May-17. Current (Sep-17).
