Concept Board
16/20
TC: This is an interesting concept board and you have chosen some unusual images, which have been put together in an unstructured way. When selecting images chose the ones that are bold and clear and really represent the clients words, bearing in mind that the aim of the concept board is to have a board, which comes together as one concept , which you should find inspirational in terms of shape, colour, mood, texture and emotion. This board can be abstract. When an image is more abstract you eye is drawn to the form and texture rather than the literal meaning. Ways to remove the literal meaning is to enlarge and then trim it to show only the area that is of interest and convey the essence of the words given in the clients brief. This will provide you with much more inspiration, especially when collated with other images. You can also rotate an image to remove the literal meaning.
Your concept board has been presented well and the composition is good. It is neat and professionally labeled. To enhance your boards in future I suggest you use good quality mount board, available from Art shops, rather than foam board as you will find it more durable in the long term.
