On a side note and completely unrelated to this pic, I keep getting the loveliest messages from people on here. Thanks to all of you who keep checking in and I'm sorry for (often) not responding.
I have been reading everyone's messages and I hear you. Grief hits differently for everyone and there's no right way to go about it. I've found talking about mine for too long to be overwhelming and counterproductive so I say what I need to say and then choose to distract myself with other things. Part of distracting myself involves not reopening wounds by responding to private messages from lovely people wanting to share their grief.
I read them all. If it helps to know someone has seen it and is cheering you on from a distance, please know that I'm doing that but unable to help any more due to trying to cope myself and finding sitting with it for too long makes it so much worse (for me). I'm sorry.
If you're in Australia, I highly recommend you look up www.grief.org.au/. There are so many resources there available to help sufferers, including a helpline for those that aren't Melbourne based.
