Rey in Primary Colors

In school, I was taught that Red, Yellow, and Blue were the primary colors, but more often now, I see that Red, Green, and Blue are primary colors.

 

What I learned recently is that:

RYB are the primary colors for paint, the more colors of paint you mix, the closer to black you get

RGB are the primary colors for light, the more colors of light you add the closer to white you get.
