I learned something again this week.
People do indeed use horrible wood chip wallpaper to cover up even worse things. And the fact that the room you started with had only one layer of said offending wallpaper doesn't mean that it's gonna be the same in all the other rooms.
It's 28 degrees outside, stripping off wallpaper in humid and hot rooms has already slowed my renovation plans down by 4 days, I am so ill that I can't breathe (which actually helps avoid inhaling any old paint flakes) and here I am at 6pm after just discovering that there are not 1 but 5 old offending layers of wallpaper on my living room wall.
