"Surreal Swallows in Spring Snowstorm Series"

Caught in a rare spring snow-storm, I documented a group of several hundred migrating swallows on the Yukon River as they struggled with the snow and freezing temperatures. I think most survived the 48 hour ordeal, as I found no dead birds. Having taken several hundred photos of this rare and remarkable scene, I will add to this series from time-to-time. The story and photos have gained widespread international media attention.
