flight of the generator
This thing was acting as a mobile crane today, right next to my house. Tasmania has an energy crisis at the moment as we rely on hydroelectricity and our hydro dams are very dry due to lack of rain. The government has purchased many diesel generators for use around the state and I would say that the two that this helicopter lifted and placed on buildings were part of that plan at the University of Tasmania. It even landed and got refuelled on the road before flying off.
Then again, I might be completely wrong, they may have been new heavy-duty rooftop bbq's, new black-hole generators, new fusion reactors ... they looked like some sort of generator though.
