Mark Haney performing through the hour and a half right up to the second the sun set. Mark is the field house residency artist at Malaise Park as part of the Vancouver Parks and Recreation’s artist studio residencies program. We took in his magical performance with a small group while the crows came home overhead. His lyrical and looping performance finished the second the sun dropped beneath the horizon – albeit behind the clouds – and the rain started minutes later.

 

Mark used digital looping heavily in this performance to great effect and hence I really like my use of the layered images here.
