St. James Church in Keene New Hampshire

TITLE

St. James Church in Keene New Hampshire

CREATOR

Wardwell, Anne, Keene NH

SUBJECT

Churches - NH - Keene

DESCRIPTION

"When St. James Church was erected, it like St. Bernard's on Main Street, the Unitarian Church on Washington Street, and the Methodist Church on Court Street, acted as the transitional building between the business section of town and the residential area. Now it is isolated from the few remaining examples of domestic architecture on the street and is surrounded by commercial construction."
