Photograph of Julia Hall's School at 79 West Street in Keene New Hampshire. This was the home of Rev. Aaron Hall, minister of the First Congregational Church for nearly 40 years, and was built in 1783. The property was sold in 1864 to Henry Colony by Julia E. Hall, granddaughter of Rev. Hall and was taken down so that Colony could build his mansion there. This mansion later became Keene Public Library!

The school opened in 1850.
