Kitbashing a body for Rapunzel

So I've been wanting to put Rapunzel on a slimmer but poseable body like Obitsu for ages but I've been a lazy butt about ordering one.

When I got back home I found my parts box of doll parts, including an Olsen Twin torso I had one cracked open to accept a pair of Barbie arms and melted the lower half to make it fit into an Obitsu pelvis.

I eventually gave up on this after getting frustrated at the Barbie Arms' lack of wrist articulation and shelved the project.

But hey, I had a junky Liv body to cannibalise the arms out of so I figure I got a chance to make a slimmer body for Rapunzel heh.

 

The hardest part about this is that the arm posts for the Liv shoulders are the right width but they sit far too deep in the torso (weirdly enough Belly Button/Fashionista Barbie arms fit the torso perfectly so yeah) so I had to fill in the gap in the shoulder hole with Milliput/putty so the arms could sit a bit more naturally in the torso.

 

But hey, I managed to get an obitsu proportioned figure for my Rapunzel doll without buying a new body so woo.
