Tech Coach Volunteer Alex at Plaza Branch
Tech Coaches helping patrons with basic digital literacy. Sessions take place at multiple library branches regularly and off site locations in partnership with Phoenix Family. For example, we hosted a Smartphones with Seniors series at 2 low-income senior housing complexes during which we provided a basic overview on smartphone settings to help seniors get more comfortable with their devices. Then in breakout sessions, we helped individuals with their specific questions. At the branches, we are stationed at designated tables weekly to help patrons with what ever tech questions they have.
