Blossoming into our Potential
Part of "MY BEST" Set, a collection of Images that I feel represent my skill as a Photographer, as well as reveal my eye for picking good quality Images. View more of MY BEST here.
__________
On the trip along East Coast Road, Prabhakaran and I found a lilly pond, and we instantly brought our car to a halt, and pulled out our equipment to get down to business.
As we walked near the lake, we noticed that this place was so dirty. Not just the water, but also the surrounding area. Thanks mainly to our wonderful friends who were also attending to the call of nature.
It did not deter either of us, as the draw of these beautiful lillies was too strong. So we started shooting.
As I was shooting, I realized how this wonderful flower had expressed its potential and beauty despite all the filth surrounding it.
Why don't we humans try the same?
Photographed with Canon EOS 5D Mark II, and Canon EF 70-200mm F2.8 L IS USM Lens and Canon EF 2X Extender.Handheld
