Engaged!
My daughter Sarah came over last night to announce her engagement to her fiance, Paul West. Congratulations to Sarah and Paul! We are thankful to have Paul officially join our family sometime later in 2009. Of course we already consider him part of the family now. We feel truly blessed.
The engagement ring was the very same ring her grandmother Elsie, wore when she was engaged in the 1940's. Elsie has been kind enough to pass it down to Sarah and Paul . It's a lovely older setting and its very special that it will stay in the family in such a meaningful way. Sarah's wedding ring will likely be a ring belonging to her other grandmother, Audrey.
