Approaching Christmas
Festively decorated chancel of St. Ludwig, Munich. The romanesque church was built between 1829 and 1844 and has the second largest altarpiece fresco in the world.
I captured this on a very dull day with little light inside the church but ugly haze coming in through the windows, so I had a hard time to get something reasonably usable from post-processing. To top it all off, the shadow of an inattentive photographer disturbs the scene π
Panorama stitched from 6 individual HDR images.
Zoom in to enjoy the beautiful details including the super-defined starbursts on the Christmas trees (thanks to my beloved Laowa lens) π
Wishing you a peaceful merry Christmas πβ¨π
