Let's go Rokoko - Press 2x Z to zoom in !!
St. Kassian is the oldest church in Regensburg, and even one of the first mentioned in Bavaria (885). In 1747 its style was changed to Rokoko. In 2012-2015 the building has been completey renewed.
For those interested in the making-of:
This image is not a single capture, but a crop from a multi-row panorama of 38 images in 6 rows and up to 7 columns (each of them being a HDR from 5 exposures). So, overall I took nearly 200 single captures to create this image. Finding a good projection and crop for such an extreme vertical viewing angle can be a challenge; note that the decoration at the very top of this image belongs to the gallery under which I was standing while taking captures. I used PTGui to stitch the pano, Adobe Photomerge (LR/PS) refused to work on this 😀
The original image is 6501×9161 px, so don't miss to zoom in (2x) to explore the beautiful details!
