Ah, so this whole "nine-months-thing" is nearing a close!!
My monkey and I have exactly 26 days to go.
I know this because I know precisely when my little man will be entering the world: at 7:30am on July 13th, via cesarean.
Quick recap: My previous issues with Placenta Previa never cleared up, most likely to blame that I also have Vasa Previa; a placental abnormality that causes the umbilical cord to attach in some form to the uterus, thus ALSO blocking my soon-to-be-son from coming out the way nature intended.
Blast.
The good thing is, that throughout all my oddities (which are relatively risky) that the little dude is healthy nonetheless.
It's just momma that's a little on the broken side! ;-)
So cross your fingers for me that all goes well over the next 3 weeks until delivery, and that he doesn't try to come early, which could be a little treacherous to say the least. :)
Other than that, life as usual.....I have 2 more weeks until maternity leave, my sister and family will be here July 8th, and we are all ready for the baby to come!
Just waiting patiently and groaning my way through the days!
(it's no fun being 35lbs heavier!!!LOL!)
