Out and About In The City Centre On Saturday Evening Waiting For a ' Batala ' Gig To Start I Came Across This In A Shop Window, And Because I Do What It States, Out Came The Camera !
Batala Liverpool is a Brazilian-style percussion band which has its musical and historical roots in Brazil. They are involved in projects teaching Brazilian drumming and dance, workshops and play in parades, major carnivals, private celebrations, opening ceremonies, Brazilian nights and festivals and perform at major sporting and music events !
The Two Hour Set Took Place In The Ropewalks District, Parading On Through Church Street, Before Ending In Mathew Street At Which Time I Realised I Had Missed My Last Bus Home So A Taxi It Was ~ Well Worth The Expense For The Fabulous Free Entertainment ~ Not Forgetting The Photography !
