this is my first project all on my very own, but i guess it's really my second as i had already done a dress with my mother--which really helped me out on this one. if she had been with me, i know there would be no puckering around the front panel, but alas, i was going to drive myself crazy with the seam ripper, so i decided to just let it be. the pattern is from the Simplicity Built By Wendy line, #3964, and the yellow fabric is from joann's (leftover from the duvet cover) and the brown fabric is from an ikea sheet that i also used in making the duvet cover. thanks to catlin for giving me the pattern!
