Note that, in the Bayer designations, the alpha star in Orion is known as Alpha Orionis, while alpha in Cassiopeia is Alpha Cassiopeiae, and in Ursa Majoris as Alpha Ursae Majoris (for the grammatically inclined, these are the genitive forms of the names of the constellations).
There's an argument to be had over what comprises a constellation and what an asterism, but I don't care.
