License Plate Bracket, 1939 Chev
As I sit here in Covid ‘Jail’, I decided to check out some more image files collecting digital dust, in this case for the better part of 10 years. For some reason. I never processed them. Scanning the folder I found a few images that caught my interest and this is one. It shows a trunk license plate mount on a rusty 1939 Chevrolet sedan I found sitting on the North side of Regional Road 20 (formerly Hwy 20) a short distance West of Smithville, Ontario. Loved the colour and the rust texture. Now it sees the light of day. BTW, the message scrawled on the front passenger window side in white marker of some type, said it could be yours for $2500 so visit the area if you are interested. - JW
