The Flower Girls, Hylands House

The reason (actually an justification for a trip) we had travelled to the East coast of England was to attend the wedding of the daughter of long-time family friends. The reception for the wedding was in the form of high tea at a magnificent estate, Hylands House (www.hylandsestateweddings.co.uk/ ) in Chelmsford, England. While the adults were busy ‘adulting’ , the flower girls (accompanied by the ring bearer) were busy tearing around the estate through an area with a beautiful flowering tree. I followed them to this area and the scene brought to mind romantic, Victorian-era English paintings of children playing in fields and woods. This is not my usual style of image I use in postings but I rather liked this. - JW
