Orchid For A Grey Day

We had an orchid bloom given to us from a bouquet that was being discarded. This bloom was still quite nice so I placed it in a small vase. On a very grey day, I set the configuration up near a window and played around with the composition until I got this. But I never processed the resulting image. Until now. It has been so depressing dull for too many days, a bit of colour was in order. I dug through my files, pulled this out and had my way with it. Brightened my day considerably. - JW
