Ottawa Somerset 1997-2oo1

while living on Somerset Street with Jennifer Books, we built a series of 5 quinzees of varying complexity but didn't get a very good photographic record of any of them.
the best was the last of them in 2oo1, which consisted of 2 rooms, the large front room easily accommodating 1o people with standing room & including a long bench along one wall & a double bed tucked into the corner opposite the mousehole opening. besides that, we ran wires out from the apartment to feed through the walls to a pair of speakers set in wall-sconces. the rear room easily fit 4. just before it began melting, we had an allnighter party in there with about 2o people & a cauldron of chili that'd been simmering on the firepit just outside the door all day (a feature common to all 5).
