squarshed
by jwc 3o2
i first started drawing this graphic – calling it a "pseudopod" – when i was a kid. basic as all get-out, it's a square with the verticals sqooshed out gently & the horizontals sqooshed in extremely (to the point that the bottom 2 extensions cross), the thing usually a little (or a lot) tilted. it's an extremely malleable figure which can change rather astonishingly while still remaining recognizable. i eventually began using it as the logotype for the small publishing imprint Curvd H&z & it struck me recently that it'd be fun to keep playing with the shape of it on trains as a "moniker".
