the name of this imprint comes from an unpublished novel by Ernest M.Porter. it was collaboratively edited by jwcurry & Mark Laba for the first coupla years, Steve Venright stepping in when Mark bailed. it ran from 9 may 1983 to 21 november 2oo1, all titles issued from Toronto except the last, issued from Ottawa.
it was primarily used for short-run oddities with some element of collaboration to them (though not always). altogether, 29 titles & 2 biznis cards were issued under this imprint, including 6 issues of 1cent, an issue of Industrial Sabotage & 2 publications of Mark Laba's Coma Goats Press.
eventually, it was superceded & replaced by the Canadian Small Change Assciation imprint.
