1CENT

1CENT is primarily a series of one-poem-per-issue leaflets edited by jwcurry that began in Toronto in early november 1979 as Pomez A Penny, published by Curvd H&z. its models were & are 3¢ PULP magazine (Vancouver, 197os, many contributing editors) & bpNichol's 5¢ Mini Mimeo Series (Toronto, mainly late 196os). along the way, many changes occurred, including the incorporation of other kinds of material besides poetry, invited guest-published issues & various kinds of group issues (initially collaborative issues with INDUSTRIAL SABOTAGE magazine). there are currently 2 subseries of "magazine issues" within 1CENT: the "newsnotes" (13 issues so far, leaves stapled at the corner (usually)) & the "communiqués" (1o so far, printed on used envelopes).

this is a rather large set (4o5 issues & counting) & will be being added to as new issues appear.
