"DuPlicAtE THiS" was to've been an essay on the difficulties of 'translating' the painted texts of Toronto graffitist P.Cob into a variety of printed forms. Turns out that it's difficult even to succinctly describe these difficulties.
Several pages of notes were written toward this end, all accompanied by an increasing awareness that all that was going on was a maundering amongst details; that, really, the opening sentence of the notes, contextualized appropriately, could go farther if allowed to demonstrate the difficulties rather than merely describe them.
The resultant prints & documentation provide a most fitting footnote/commentary/tribute to Mr.P.Cob & the print project he provoked.
