1st test round!
Mauri Brethour finishing off a 9-over-par hole 2 (a difficult par 3) of the forthcoming miniputt course. i didn't do all that much better.
hole 1 (par 2 – at which she scored a hole-in-one 1st shot out!) is relatively straightforward over a rise (well, except for the rock garden hazard at its crest & the volcano hole set in the rising side of the end bowl) but the 2nd hole climbs a series of rock shelves about 8 feet high via a dirt path/spillway (straight down a bit from the bottom left of the photo) to make a right-angle turn to the hole.
a full 18 holes (+ bonus) is assumed, of which 6 are currently plotted/2 "finished" (i'm sure that continuous modifications will be made), that should be able to take one all around the island to touch on some of its prominent features (the 1st 4 holes climb to Mount Billy (hole 3 via a ramp from the semi-clear patch behind hole 2 up & over the cliff visible behind Mauri) & will then plunge to hole 5, drop off a small cliff to hole 6 & shoot over a pit to 7, located in the end of a rotted out hydro pole (ramps/eavestroughs/tubes/constructed pathways)). should make for a fun tour!
