thanks, Jana!
indeed, y'r welcome anytime: it's not only good to see you but to be able to share this – something a little different – with you a little more fully this time was great. i've been wanting it seems to've been that particular ham'n'cheeseburger for a long time now. you can bet i'll be doing a variation on it again soon.
only just got yr note late yesterday, everything left as it was (forgot my shirts draped over the back of the bench). no alterations made this trip but i'll be puttering away over there tomorrow. i realized, after finishing the ring road, that it, in fact, is not finished after all in that there's the little byway off beside the garden to the south end of the cliff where the logboom stanchion is: one can go easily down the cliff & to the right along a ledge & back up to come out where the forced erosion site is & all along to the crazy tree that grows out & over the water, ending up at the northwest corner of the island & the trail there that leads back to the main north/south trail through the declivity. so it seems there're 2 "roads" – the ring & the cut – & a handful of short extensions (like where the trails converge at the southwest end & the minor "driveway effect" of the south shore boatlaunch). that'll be tomorrow's intrigue: further blazing & dressing.
that'll get me in the water!
you'll note i cheated & just held it up to the sun instead of taking it in to the mirrors (always as few tools as possible).
love & cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
