Great Purple Hairstreak
This butterfly looks purple if the light hits it just right but the shots I got did not show any purple that I could see. The vivid blue, red and orange against black wings are very striking. I think this may be one of the most beautiful butterflies I have photographed. It was on the button bush flowers.
