The Nebula
I took all my courage to share a part about myself last week. Receiving everyone's encouragements, I felt being loved, trusted and warm, those are great motivations which help me continue to smile and be consistent with the path I've followed. Thank you!
This is the latest photo of a series that I started doing in the middle of last year, called The Outside. As its name, the series are all about beyond things outside of this world, which is in particular, the vast, fanciful and dreamlike universe. I love the universe, I love the mystery and the cold apprearance which it’s wearing. I spend a lot of time watching and studying about outerspace through documentary films, although having memory problems, I always consider it as a special gift to be able to watch the same footage again and again with the same charm and exciting feeling.
To me, the universe is a dark world that even now human knowledge about it is extremely little, people feel small and lonely when floating in an endless gloomy space. However, in that dark atmosphere, there are beautiful things, the lonesome little lights but great and sharp, which are the nebulas, the galaxies, the stars ...; all combine in harmony creates a distinctive beauty featured on the black background of an open space.
I have and always felt the universe is similar to dark art, they're both mysterious, both cold, both scary, both dreaming, and also both highlight the tiny lights hiding in them. If the brightly colored lines of the nebula create abstract but inspirational illusions for me to fly high with my imagination, I can certainly grab all the beautiful things wandering somewhere in the darkness that had been forgotten and shunned by the human beings.
That is also an interesting way of thinking
