The Weary Peasant Departs
Since this was a five day trip, we were exposed to a lot of sun. We slathered up with sunblock each morning, but I was still quite worried about the girls' total sun exposure. One of the vendors, however, was selling these nifty hats. I've mentioned before that I love these hats, and they were five dollars each. I bought one for each girl, and made them wear them whenever they went out in the sun.
Also note the cool garb that Ivy is wearing, hand-made by her grandmother Sallie.
(Observation: I usually avoid pictures where you can't see the subjects' faces, but I notice this is the third photo in a row where faces aren't really visible.)
