Rotary cutting + kiddo = no.
Ironing + kiddo = no.
But he really, really wanted to help make his new rocket pillowcases, so I let him stomp on the machine's foot pedal. It was a wild ride, but we got it done.
I used a larger-than-called for allowance when topstitching these (1/4 " as opposed to 1/8"). When I made these before, I found it was too easy to veer off course, especially as you couldn't see the "right side" when you did the topstitching.
