It's often said in this part of the world that if you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes. It was certainly true this day. Having spent the morning wandering around Penzance in grey, windy drizzle, I got back to Porthcurno just as it was beginning to clear, so after a quick bite to eat I went out again in the afternoon in brilliant sunshine, and warm too. Knowing that the tide would still be low, I headed straight for Pedn Vounder, as I was determined to go for a swim...
