Well I've had an odd few days!

 

Firstly our dish washer caught fire! (how something that's full of water can actually catch fire is beyond me).

 

Then over the weekend we had a 'small' flood (20mm of rain fell!) that's destroyed my living room floor! It's solid oak, which I laid all by myself and it took flipping ages. : (

We've just had the insurance guy in today to assess the damage and it's all got to be ripped up and trashed!...... it's not what I wanted to hear... not just before christmas!

 

And to slap a nice big smile back on my face I'm off to buy myself an early Christmas gift... a sigma 50mm 1.4 : D
