2010.12.22 Patricio with Three Pianose
iPod Touch
facesIMake
Over a previous sketch of Patricio, which I then swapped out for the plain background.
Probably at least an hour.
Patricio, Chile/France for JKPP
For those who aren't familiar with it, the FacesIMake app provides you with all these 'pre cut' collage objects. In the paid version, you also have the ability to import photos or set background colors independent of the rest of the collage, and to flip and scale the objects, which gives you alot more versatility. As per my usual complaint report it is sometimes difficult to grab and move the object you want and I think if I were part of the younger audience this is aimed at, I would probably get very frustrated. Other than it's highly entertaining. For a future feature I would love the ability to import my own .png files.
Of course I wanted to draw Patricio entirely with musical instruments but there just weren't enough round and curvy things so we have food, toys and kitchen items mixed in there as well. A far cry from Arcimboldo, but I had fun!
