Last night in Venice
I'd like to dedicate this to my husband. Why in particular?.....because we had 4 nights in Venice, and I was only well enough to go out on our last night. I wanted to get to this spot before the sun left the the far shore. As we approached, with seemingly plenty of time, my husband tripped and had a crashing fall, not into the canal fortunately! He landed on my tripod which he was carrying, bruising himself badly, and also cut his head and hands, necessitating serviettes as bandages from the nearby restaurant.
Shaken but not stirred, he insisted I took my image-bless :D
I missed the light!!! but my tripod remained intact and I got my shot, it's a bit flat, but I'm grateful for that!
So for nursing me for 3 days and being the best pal ever, Philip, this is for you!!
