Brighton's fallen West pier, it opened in 1870.

I have never photographed in such windy conditions! All credit to my tripod, I resembled Batwomen trying to act as a windbreak!!! A 1/4 second exposure, taken when it was almost dark. It's checkered history can be found here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Pier
