©2012 Julia Forsyth, Eagle Owl Linoblock, Sharpie and transferred drawing on carved linoblock, 5" x 8"
This was the 2nd transfer attempt. These blocks really add up with wasted time, money, and creative energy (and regular energy, too!) when an attempt fails. Plus it puts me in a seriously foul mood. So I was very glad the 2nd attempt worked out!
Most of the transfer turned out great, but part of his eye and parts of his head didn't transfer at all. I just grabbed my Sharpie and re-drew on the block what didn't transfer. Then I picked up my carving tools and went to town.
