Upon these stones: The site of the gallows of the Burnham Poisoners

Notorious Burnham Market Poisoners, Catherine Frary and Frances (Fanny) Billing were imprisoned, convicted and subsequently hanged at Norwich Castle Gaol. Now converted to a museum, visitors walk across the very bridge where the gallows were erected, little realising it's grim past.
