Scintillant Hummingbird
This is the first of many Costa Rican bird photographs that I'll upload! It was a fantastic trip, where I was able to see more than 100 lifebirds. The climate and people were both amazing!
This male Scintillant Hummingbird is tiny...6.5 cm (a couple centimeters less than a Ruby-throated Hummingbird). It was fun to see them flying around with some of the giants of the hummer world like the Magnificent!
