this was to be our plane from San Francisco to San Diego.... until the gate agent announced: "we're not going to take this plane. it's no good. i'll let you know when we find a plane with a windshield". her disarming honesty made us laugh, rather than be annoyed at adding another hour to our already 19+ hour trip.
