Baxter Backcountry

There is still a bit of snow to be seen on the upper reaches of Mount Katahdin. Quite a bit less though then when I arrived in the park two days earlier.

 

I have only visited this particular backcountry pond once before, years ago. That was an overcast day with no views. Now that I know what we missed, I will make a point of getting here more often!
