Watercolor: Mixing flesh color on paper 1
A4 Canson Montval 200gsm; tube and pan watercolors
Charles Reid, "The Natural Way to Paint: Rendering the Figure in Watercolor Simply and Beautifully".
These are the warm flesh tones; cool ones to follow. Blooming from too much water I can understand, also the propensity towards orange if the red is too strong, but I assume by "overworked", Reid means a lack of visible granulation.
