LS&M Revival
The Lake Superior & Mississippi Railroad returned to service after a three year absence on July 29, 2023. The tracks the train uses were removed in 2020-2022 near the site of USS Steel's plant in Morgan Park as part of a pollution remediation project. The 20203 season kicked off with a new locomotive borrowed from the Wisconsin Great Northern but tastefully lettered LS&M.
