1906 CMStP&P Tower at at Newport, Minnesota

This tower was built by the Milwaukee Road in 1906 and was used to dispatch trains of that railroad as well as those of the Rock Island and the Burlington Route. The interlocking machine was salvaged from the St. Croix Tower when it was demolished. The Newport tower was relocated to its current site and restored beginning in 1984.
