J Swanstrom (Never enough time...)
Bottle Brush Bush Buds
The house we moved into last year has 2 of these 'trees'. I'm not sure they will be sticking around for several reasons. Firstly, they are like 10' (3.3M) tall but have such sparse leaves that they provide very little shade. Secondly, they attract a lot of bees and wasps, which can spell trouble for a toddler (and neither of us are big fans, either - even in my macro work I rarely shoot 'bugs' even though I find them fascinating... for someone else to shoot). Thirdly, I just don't find them all that beautiful. They just really aren't my style.
Anyway, since they are likely to be dying a premature death I thought I would take some shots of what I feel are the more interesting parts. I feel this is the best one.
Thanks for looking, and I hope you like it.
