iPhone and Android
So after deciding the last android book was far too out dated for me to gain any real knowledge, I ordered myself a couple of new book. These 2 just came out, and I made sure they both covered the most recent versions of the iPhone SDK and the Android SDK.
iPhone? Yes. I bought a mac so I figured it's about time I learned to do some iPhone development. I was looking for a book that would be a complete solution for learning iPhone, and this book's tag line is "A Complete Course in iPhone and iPod touch Programming". Plus I really like Apress books, so it seemed like a good fit. A search on craigslist for people hiring android developers compared to the number of people hiring iPhone developers gives you a clear cut winner in career advancement.
The android book was purchased primarily because I still really want to do it. The last book became very outdated very quickly. This book covers 1.0 version of the SDK, so I know there won't be any problems.
