Crystal Clear Sunrise

I traveled 1 1/2 hours to a remote location called Whitefish Point in the upper peninsula of Michigan. The day before I had noticed these ice crystal formations and wanted to capture a sunrise. Being April I knew I had to work fast as Spring should be here, but winter has been holding on. I arrived with a few minutes to work as a winter storm was rolling in. I composed and set up as fast as possible, took a few test shots, recomposed and captured a few images before the beautiful sunrise disappeared. I took a wide angle shot first which, in my opinion, is equally stunning, then I zoomed in capturing this colorful composition. I was extremely happy with the results. Hope you enjoy.
